City of Austin Zilker Park Irrigation Pump Station

C Faulkner Engineering was contracted by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department to design a raw water intake structure in Lady Bird Lake and pump station to deliver irrigation water to Zilker Park.  This new system removed a large portion of Zilker’s irrigation system from potable water sources and allows a larger capacity of irrigation water to be delivered to the park than what PARD was able to provide before.  CFE coordinated with PARD and the contractor to complete the project this summer.
