CFE was a key team member in the design of the new site. Working with the Center’s Board, Graeber, Simmons & Cowan Architecture, and Flynn Construction; CFE prepared the site plan documents and obtained the necessary site development permits for the Center. City of Austin Reclaimed Water Project The City of Austin has contracted C Faulkner Engineering to assist in the design of a reclaimed water system that will utilize treated wastewater effluent as a source of water for non-potable uses at The University of Texas at Austin campus as well as other facilities. The proposed line will run from the Old Mueller Airport site, now the new Mueller Urban Village. CFE is currently designing and coordinating several portions of the project. City of Austin Zilker Park Irrigation Pump Station C Faulkner Engineering was contracted by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department to design a raw water intake structure in Lady Bird Lake and pump station to deliver irrigation water to Zilker Park. This new system removed a large portion of Zilker’s irrigation system from potable water sources and allows a larger capacity of irrigation water to be delivered to the park than what PARD was able to provide before. CFE coordinated with PARD and the contractor to complete the project this summer. |
