TAYLOR WOODROW – STEINER RANCH COMMUNITY / AUSTIN, TEXAS
Steiner Ranch is a 4,600-acre master-planned community located in northwest Austin, positioned between Lake Austin and Lake Travis. The community, consisting of approximately 1,500 homes, was built with easy access to FM 2222, Mopac, Highway 183, and Highway 360. Steiner Ranch contains two community centers, more than twelve miles of nature trails, 819 acres of nature preserve, three basketball courts, six tennis courts, pocket parks, and is the home of The University of Texas Golf Club.
In 1999, the Steiner Ranch project received the Max Award for Best Overall Community with more than 150 units. This award was given by the Texas Capitol Area Builders Association and recognizes the efforts Steiner Ranch executes to protect the environment and provide a community that attracts residents from throughout Central Texas.
C Faulkner Engineering (CFE) is currently responsible for the preliminary plans, design surveys, final construction plans and bid documents for Phase 1, Section 7, Rio Vista, Parkside Valley, Panther Hollow, and Steiner Ranch/The University of Texas Golf Course. Each project is currently at a different stage of development, but all follow, more or less, the same development process. |
